We’ll begin our day on a private tour, departing directly from your hotel in Salou, Cambrils, or Tarragona at the agreed-upon time, heading south toward the coastal town of L’Ametlla de Mar. Our first experience will be the exclusive Tuna Tour, a unique marine adventure in Europe. We’ll board Balfegó’s modern catamaran from the port of L’Ametlla de Mar. During the 20-minute cruise to the bluefin tuna breeding pools, we’ll enjoy an explanatory video on board about this fascinating species, known for its large size, speed, and culinary value.

Once we arrive at the marine facilities, we’ll anchor for a close-up look at the spectacular pools home to more than 300 bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus), some measuring up to 2.5 meters and weighing over 250 kg. After a brief briefing by the team, the exciting snorkeling session begins: you’ll literally swim among these majestic animals in a safe, guided, and completely unforgettable experience.

On the way back to the port, you’ll enjoy Balfegó bluefin tuna sashimi—considered one of the best in the world—accompanied by wasabi, soy sauce, and a drink. A perfect opportunity to savor the sea with all your senses.

After the marine adventure, we’ll continue inland by private vehicle to El Masroig, one of the most authentic villages in Priorat. This region is famous for its intense, mineral wines, thanks to the red clay and slate (llicorella) soils that define its landscape and character.

There, we’ll take a private tour of a traditional winery where you’ll discover how the Priorat soil and climate are transformed into soulful wines. Once at the floating facilities, you’ll swim among more than 300 giant tuna , some measuring over 2.5 meters in length and weighing up to 250 kg.

2. Winery in El Masroig – Priorat

The second part of the tour takes us to the Priorat region , a land of centuries-old vines, steep hills, and llicorella soils , a black slate that gives the region’s wines their characteristic minerality. In El Masroig , a town with over a century of winemaking tradition, you’ll visit a winery that embodies the soul of this region.

During the tour, you’ll discover how the extreme soil conditions and dry climate force the vines to strive, producing high-quality grapes. You’ll learn about the winemaking process and taste different varieties from the area, especially Garnacha and Cariñena, in an authentic, rural setting.
