Description
We will arrive at PALAMOS and we will discover the town, strolling through its streets and discovering part of its Viewpoints and the Camino de Ronda to Cala S’Alguer. The coastal path runs a total of 7 km from the old town to Cala Estrecha. It is a peculiar route, that every couple of kilometers offers us a point of interest.
Optional tour of the Camino de Ronda
First section of 1.5 km: We start the route in the old town and continue north along the coast. We pass through the Mirador del Faro, Puerto Marina, and the cove of Morro del Ternero, up to the Mirador de Cap Gros.
Second section: Cap Gros – Castillo de San Esteban, passing by La Fosca beach, shallow and facing southeast.
Third section: after 750 m, we arrive at Cala S’Alguer, an old neighborhood of fishermen’s barracks that dates back to the 15th century.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Fishing Museum, the first museum in the Mediterranean. We can enjoy the visit of the fishing boats.

STANDARD ACCOMMODATION
Bike ride to do the Castle – Cap Roig route (22 km and 200 m cumulative difference in altitude)
This route will show us one of the most virgin parts of the central Costa Brava, we will roll through leafy paths between the sea and the mountains, following the greenway of the Petit Train. This railway was created thanks to the cork industry.
Halfway through the route we will head towards the beautiful town of Calella de Palafrugell, we will pass in front of the magnificent gardens of Cap Roig and its castle and directly on the beach of the Castle, where the most daring can make a small excursion on foot to the Iberian town of the castle. At this point you are in one of the most virgin beaches left on the central Costa Brava, enjoy this privileged environment.
