Embark on an exclusive four-day journey through three of Spain’s most prestigious wine regions: Priorat, La Rioja and Ribera del Duero. This tour is designed for lovers of wine and history, offering private visits to renowned wineries, tastings of exceptional wines and the opportunity to explore landscapes and towns with centuries of winemaking tradition.

Day 1: From Barcelona to Priorat

The journey begins with a private car transfer from Barcelona to Priorat, a highly prestigious wine region renowned for its centuries-old vineyards and the production of intense and structured wines. Upon arrival, we will take a wine tour to discover the diversity of wineries that this area has to offer, exploring both historic vineyards and innovative wine projects. During the tour, you will learn about the terrace cultivation techniques and artisanal processes that have positioned Priorat among the best wine regions in the world.

At midday, you will enjoy lunch at a signature restaurant, where local gastronomy merges with culinary innovation, pairing the dishes with local wines.

In the afternoon, we will arrive at La Porrera, a picturesque village in the heart of Priorat. Here you will have free time to enjoy the landscapes and tranquility of the region, relaxing at the hotel or simply resting with a glass of wine in an idyllic setting.

Day 2: From Priorat to La Rioja

After a gourmet breakfast at the hotel, we will depart by private car towards La Rioja, enjoying the mountainous landscapes of Priorat and making a brief stop in Siurana, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. This charming medieval enclave, situated on a cliff, offers stunning views of the reservoir and preserves the history of its Arab past in its cobbled streets and ancient fortress.

We will continue our tour towards La Rioja and head to the Bistró de Marqués de Riscal, located within the impressive complex designed by architect Frank Gehry, one of the most iconic works of modernism in Spain. In this incomparable setting, we will enjoy a lunch paired with house wines, where Riojan haute cuisine is presented in an innovative format.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Vivanco Winery, a benchmark in the world of wine and wine culture. Here, we will tour its facilities with an expert winemaker, discovering the fermentation and aging processes that have positioned La Rioja as one of the great wine regions in the world. The visit will culminate with a guided tasting of its most representative wines, appreciating the evolution of the nuances brought by the passage of time.

After this experience, we will move to Laguardia, where we will check-in at an exclusive boutique hotel to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

Day 3: From La Rioja to Ribera del Duero

After a gourmet breakfast at the hotel, we will depart by private car towards Ribera del Duero, a prestigious wine region characterized by its powerful and structured wines. Along the way, we will stop at the Salinas de Añana, one of the oldest salt complexes in Europe, where we will discover its unique salt production system, which has been maintained since Roman times. During the visit, we will explore the evaporation terraces and learn about the importance of this natural resource in the history of the region.

We will continue our journey towards Ribera del Duero, where we will go to Bodega Protos, one of the most emblematic of the designation of origin. Here we will tour its impressive underground galleries, where the wine rests in optimal conditions for its aging. An expert winemaker will guide us through the winemaking process, explaining the characteristics that make Ribera del Duero wines a reference in the world of wine. The visit will culminate with an exclusive tasting, in which we will sample some of its most emblematic labels.

For lunch, we will enjoy a gastronomic experience in a traditional restaurant in the area, where Castilian cuisine is combined with high-quality local products, highlighting specialties such as roast lamb.

In the afternoon, we will check-in at an exclusive boutique hotel surrounded by vineyards, where you will have free time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Day 4: Ribera del Duero – Segovia – Return to Madrid

After a gourmet breakfast at the hotel, we will depart by private car towards Madrid. On the way, we will make a stop at the imposing Peñafiel Castle, a medieval fortress from the 10th century that has been key in the history of Castile and León. Its strategic location on a hill allowed the defense of the Duero valley, and today it houses the Provincial Wine Museum, where you can learn about the wine evolution of the region. From the keep, we will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley and its vineyards.

We will continue our tour to Segovia, a World Heritage city that is home to some of the most impressive monuments in Spain. Here we will make a stop of approximately two hours to explore its historic center.

Our visit will include the Segovia Aqueduct, a majestic work of Roman engineering that has lasted for almost 2,000 years, becoming the symbol of the city. We will walk through the charming medieval streets until we reach the Plaza Mayor, where the impressive Segovia Cathedral is located, a jewel of late Gothic architecture. Finally, we will head to the Alcázar of Segovia, a fairytale fortress that served as inspiration for Disney castles.

To finish the tour, we will enjoy lunch in a traditional Segovian restaurant, where you can taste the famous roast suckling pig, the star dish of local cuisine.

In the afternoon, we continue the return trip by private car to Madrid. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your accommodation or to the airport, ensuring a worry-free end to four days of immersion in the world of wine and history.
