Palamos is the maritime capital of the Costa Brava, it is the municipality with the most international repercussion of the whole thing, of fishing origin, and that still maintains all the charms of the Costa Brava.
Palamos has its first vestiges in the Iberian town, from the 6th century to C, thanks to the rock located at one of the ends of the village. A small castle would also be built there. The official founding letter of the municipality is from 1279. Like all coastal towns in the Middle Ages, they had their fights with pirates.
Currently, it has privileged communication with Barcelona, and Girona by motorway and the sea, as a Cruise Terminal.
Palamos, despite its demographic growth, has managed to maintain its fishing origins, with a particularly relevant fishing and tourist industry.
The possibilities that this municipality can offer us are infinite.

It is located near the coastal path, towards Calella de Palafrugell. The coastal path runs a total of 7 km from the old town to Cala Estreta. It is a peculiar route, that every couple of kilometers offers us a point of interest.

Second section: Cap Gros – Castell de Sant Esteve, passing through La Fosca beach, shallow and facing southeast.
