We will take a route in a private vehicle, heading to one of the most wine-producing areas in Spain.

We will go to one of the most prestigious wineries, the Torres Winery. There we will take a tour of the wineries and a tasting of their wines. We will see an audiovisual introduction about the history of the Torres family and their wineries, the idea is to experience the world of wine through the senses. Getting to know the Penedés area and the winery facilities up close on a tour of the estate’s vineyards is a sublime experience.

For lunch, we will go to a family winery with a special charm. We will be able to contrast the benefits of an international winery with a small winery, where they make wine with spectacular care and attention.

At our chosen winery we will be able to enjoy a wine tasting combined with a traditional lunch. The winemaker or winery guide will guide you through the tasting, providing detailed information about each wine. You can learn about the specific characteristics of the grapes used, the production process and the tasting notes. During lunch, specific wines will be selected to pair with each dish. You can expect a careful choice that enhances the flavours of the food and highlights the characteristics of the wines.

In the afternoon, more relaxed, we will delight in the jewel in the crown of the Penedès. This sparkling wine that is produced using the traditional method, similar to champagne. The cavas of the Penedès are known for their quality and elegance, and are often made with local varieties such as Xarel lo, Macabeo and Parellada.

We will discover the varieties and differences between the classic wine and the elaborate cava of the region.

We will return to Barcelona, ​​with photographs and adventures that taught us the history of the most popular wine regions in Spain.
