Aro Dorado 2014: Wine from my winery, 100% red Grenache aged for 12 months in 500-year-old French oak barrels and 4 years in the bottle. (Production 1080 bottles) Only released in special vintages.

Ronçavall 2015 Wine from Villa de Torroja: 100% Cariñena from vineyards over 70 years old with 12 months of aging in 225-year-old French oak barrels. Bodega Cal Batllet de Gratallops (Production 270 bottles) Only released in special vintages.

Clos Erasmus 1997: Garnacha, Cariñena, Cabernet and Merlot. 18 months of aging in French oak. Cellar Clos y Terrazas de España.

Planots 2013: Cariñena from old vineyards aged for 12 months in 225 French oak barrels. Bodega Cal Pla de Porrera.

Las Bajadas 2018: 100% Garnacha from the vineyard of the same name. Aged in French oak foudres for 12 months, Bodega Alvaro Palacios de Gratallops.

Priorat and its History

Located in the south of Catalonia, it is part of the regions of New Catalonia, the territory inhabited by the Saracens until the 12th century. It preserves vestiges of bygone eras that take us back in time, including the Saracen fortress of Siurana, capital of the vilayet of the same name, inland, where the remains of one of the oldest mosques in Catalonia have been found. The Christian reconquest, which began with Count-King Ramon Berenguer IV, consolidated the construction of churches and monasteries with the aim of spreading the new faith.
