Montserrat is undoubtedly the most emblematic mountain in Catalonia, standing out for its majestic Benedictine monastery. This monastery, rebuilt in the 19th century, houses a venerated 12th-century statue of the Virgen Moreneta, patron saint of Catalonia, becoming an important centre of pilgrimage and prayer for Catholics from all over the world. In addition, its children’s choir, known as the Escolanía de Montserrat, is one of the oldest in Europe. Made up of children between 7 and 13 years old, these talented singers have received comprehensive musical training and have performed concerts internationally. Listening to their melodious voice is undoubtedly a luxury and a privilege for the ear.
The mountain offers a magical environment, ideal for lovers of culture and nature. When exploring Montserrat, you will have the opportunity to visit a museum that houses works by renowned artists, surprising visitors with its rich collection.
To culminate this unique experience, we will take a balloon flight over Montserrat. Depending on the weather conditions, we will begin with an exciting 4×4 ride to the take-off point. Once there, you will be able to observe the fascinating process of balloon inflation, watching it take shape as the minutes go by. We will then board the balloon and enjoy a flight of approximately one hour, reaching altitudes of up to 1,500 metres. The majestic views of Montserrat from the air will undoubtedly be a spectacular experience that you will remember forever.
